Who we are
Here at R&C, we are a two-person creative team specialising in bespoke social media content for service-based businesses. By combining professional video production with strategic social media management, we help brands show up online with clarity, consistency, and confidence!
Our service brings together two skill sets that are often separated. One of us is a professionally trained videographer, focused on capturing cinematic, high-quality visuals that stop the scroll. The other is a dedicated social media manager, responsible for shaping strategy, messaging, and structure so every piece of content has a purpose.
We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all content. Every business is different, which is why our approach is fully bespoke—designed around your brand, your audience, and your goals. From planning and filming through to strategy and execution, we work collaboratively to make sure your content not only looks good, but actually works!
Meet the faces behind R&C
Phoebe Rose Wigglesworth
With my degree in Musical Theatre and Dance, I am a performer first and foremost - storytelling through movement, and music has always been at the heart of who I am. The stage is where I feel most at home, but navigating the natural ebb and flow between performing contracts led me to discover another creative passion: social media management!
What began as a way to stay proactive during quieter seasons quickly grew into a skill set I truly love—blending creativity, strategy, and digital storytelling to help brands and individuals shine. Whether I’m performing under stage lights or building an engaging online presence, I aim to bring energy, authenticity, and heart to everything I do.
George Child
With a degree in filmmaking and seven years of experience behind the camera, I have developed a strong eye for cinematic video and photography. I specialise in documentary storytelling, working across different genres has helped me shape a flexible shooting style that can adapt to each story and the people behind it.
My interest in social media videography and photography began during my first year studying Film and TV at college. During this time, I was given the opportunity to complete a two week work placement with a social media video production company. This experience gave me the confidence to pick up a camera and begin creating short videos for family friend businesses, giving me the freedom from a young age to learn how to adapt to changing trends.
How R&C came to be
We met both working over a summer season at York Maze - Phoebe on the entertainment team and George a tractor driver. We worked closely together over summer, building a friendship, as well as working on various other projects together outside of the seasonal work. It wasn’t until our second season of work at York Maze that we discovered how much of an asset we could be to each other! Through general conversation we both began to realise what an effective cross over our passions could have - with George taking a leap at a business proposition.
We then set out with an aim of completely changing the social media game by bringing professional videography/photography together with expert social media management from day one - because why not combine the two! Instead of treating content creation and strategy as separate pieces of the puzzle, we build them side by side - so everything looks incredible and performs beautifully!
